Read: 1 Corinthians 15:35–58Paul uses the picture of a seed to help us understand the resurrection. A seed may look small and ordinary, but when it is planted, it becomes something completely different. In the same way, our resurrection bodies will be transformed—imperishable, powerful, and glorious. Jesus’ resurrection is the promise that death does not have the final word.But Paul doesn’t stop with what happens someday. He tells us how resurrection hope should change how we live today:“Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”Because Jesus conquered death and is coming again, what we do for Him matters. Our work, our service, our kindness, our prayers, and even the small things we do when no one is watching are not in vain.Following Jesus isn’t about trying harder to prove ourselves. We live from the confidence that we already belong to Him.
