Mission in Motion is a dynamic initiative of the West Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church (WVUMC) that reimagines and  revitalizes the former "Celebration of Mission Event." This initiative is dedicated to supporting conference-affiliated mission projects, outreach efforts, fundraising, and storytelling that highlight the transformative impact of mission work within the Conference.  

Through Mission in Motion, churches and individuals are invited to actively engage in mission through hands-on service, financial giving, and sharing stories of how God is at work in their communities. The initiative fosters collaboration, inspires generosity, and strengthens connections between local churches and mission partners.

UMCOR As We all know southern West Virginia has been hit hard by floods. Our United Methodist brothers and sisters have donated cleaning buckets, time and energy on work teams and financial donations.  We want to be a part of this!  There will always be a need for cleaning buckets. Your Stout Mission Team has recently learned a cabin at Crossroads is being prepped for storage of cleaning buckets. 

These buckets cost approximately $55 each to fill. We are asking for your donations over the next five weeks to help us “Fill the Buckets”.  Please mark on an  envelope “Fill the Buckets” with $55 or any amount and donate at either service. 

Thank you and keep all those affected by the floods in your prayers.
