Advent begins on Nov 30th but since we don’t want to meet the day before Thanksgiving, we need to move up our dates for beginning our Advent Studies this year. 
If you like a daily discipline during Advent, use the Wed. 10am study, if you like a video presentation from Adam Hamilton, come on Wed. evenings at 6:00 p.m.

House to Home.  There is a need for toboggans, gloves and socks for our homeless brothers and sisters.  The cold season is here. 

PHS Care Closet.   Check out the front desk in the Gathering Space for a list of needs for our high school students. 

Volunteers are needed for the second Sunday meal at St Paul's UMC, Market Street.  Do you have to bring anything or contribute money?  No! Your TIME to talk to those in attendance is what is needed.  Be there at 4 pm.

A big Thank you to everyone who donated items for Undie Sunday.  We had a huge amount of underwear and diapers.    Thank you congregation!!

Operation Christmas Child 

You are invited to participate in Operation Christmas Child and do your own individual girl or boy box. However, we are also having a packing party on November 9th at 4:00. There is an information and donation board set up in the gathering space. The item and quantity needed will be on a slip of paper. A website is included as a suggestion only. We accept donations if you would prefer, to help offset costs. We hope you will join us on November 9th! 

 
Thanksgiving’s Just Around the Corner!
Hard to believe it’s nearly turkey time already! Just a little reminder that our Thanksgiving Dinner will be Sunday, November 23rd at 5:30 PM. We’ll have plenty of good food, warm company, and a heap of gratitude to go around. 

Go on and mark your calendars (or stick a note on the fridge) — it’s gonna be a sweet evening of fellowship and full bellies
