Dr. Lisa Fox met with a group of 7 from our church to tell us about Breakthrough Prayer. She shared from her own experience and noted that prayer changed the life of her congregations. Church leadership wanted something that would unite us in this transition. She will be with the congregation on Sunday, February 15th at both services to preach and share with us about Breakthrough Prayer and its Power. It feels like Christmas was just yesterday, but Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! That means it’s time for our Valentine Bag Ministry—a special way to share love with members of our church family who can’t always be with us. We invite you to help fill Valentine bags with cards, treats, or small gifts as a reminder that they are remembered, cherished, and loved. How you can participate:· Donation containers will be in the Gathering Space beginning January 25th. · Fill a bag with a card, small gift, or sweet treat. · Help deliver the Valentine bags starting February 8th, if you’re able. Together, let’s make this Valentine’s Day a joyful reminder to our church family that they are not forgotten and deeply loved! MISSIONS The Second Sunday community meal at St Paul's will be held on Feb 8. Want to come and serve or visit with the attendees? Come on down about 3:45. Desserts also needed. Bring to Stout kitchen by noon on 2/8 and please mark desserts "2nd Sun Meal", and they all will be taken there. The mission committee is sponsoring an Easter activity on the afternoon of Palm Sunday. We are now collecting small plastic Easter eggs and bags of bite sized individually wrapped candy. There is a large container in the Gathering Space for your donations! Thank you. Latrobe Missions is in need of fitted twin size sheets. We are also low on Bleach tablets and 13-gallon trash bags!!
