OCCAs we continue preparing our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, our focus for this month is “WOW” items! These are the special gifts that often become the child’s favorite item in the box—the one that brings the biggest smile and makes the shoebox extra memorable. Thank you for helping us share God’s love with children around the world through this ministry! Your generosity helps make each shoebox a joyful gift of hope! A "wow" item might be, small backpack or purse, doll, soccer ball and pump, stuffed animal, jewelry making or hobby kit, or a large toy. All ladies are invited to join Lydia/Rachel Circle for our March 17th meeting at 10:30 in the parlor. Margaret Hoschar of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) will share with us the work of CASA. CASA aids children when they have been removed from their home by a court order. This is a very emotional situation for children and CASA provides aid and comfort to them. Please plan to attend.
