ISSUE 20, VOLUME 5CONNECTIONSMAY 17TH, 2026STOUT MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCHMaking Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World. Changes to Our Altar Flower Sponsorship Ministry We would like to share an update regarding our Altar Flower Sponsorship Ministry. As many of you may not know, Flower Garden Florist has recently closed its doors. We are grateful for the service they provided to our church. Moving forward, we are pleased to partner with Dudley's Florist for our altar flower arrangements. Dudley’s offers two arrangement options for sponsors: · $30/each Vase Arrangement · $40/each Vase Arrangement — featuring a greater variety of flowers and design options. Sponsors may also request specific colors and/or themes for their arrangement when placing an order. To accommodate the florist’s scheduling requirements, all altar flower orders must now be submitted by the Monday prior to the sponsored Sunday. This will help ensure adequate time for preparation and delivery. Altar flowers continue to be a meaningful way to honor or remember loved ones, celebrate special occasions, or give thanks to God while beautifying our worship space. We appreciate your understanding during this transition and thank you for your continued support of this special ministry. For sponsorship sign-ups or additional information, please contact the church office Pastor Helen’s Weekly Scripture Acts 1:6-14 John 17: 1-11 Our Graduates Sunday, May 24th there will be a celebration of our graduates.
