Operation Christmas Child – June Shoebox Shopping: Toys

Thank you to everyone who contributed hygiene items     during May for our Operation Christmas Child shoebox   ministry! Your generosity helps us continue sharing God’s love with children around the world. Throughout June, we invite you to focus on collecting small toys that will bring joy and encouragement to children around the world.

Great toy ideas include:
· Small dolls or stuffed animals
· Matchbox cars or toy trucks
· Jump ropes, balls, or yo-yos
· Puzzles, card games, or small board games
· Building blocks or action figures
· Musical toys, whistles, or harmonicas

When choosing toys, please avoid items that are breakable, war-related, or require batteries. Quality “wow” items can make a shoebox especially meaningful for a child receiving it.

Shopping a little each month helps make shoebox packing easier and more affordable as we prepare for National Collection Week in November. Thank you for helping share God’s love, one shoebox at a time!

Missions
Stout Memorial is hosting the Second Sunday Community Meal on June 14 at St Paul's UMC, Market St.  We would love it if you could help out.  Needed: greeters, serving our guests, visiting with community members, clean up. Come to the back of St Paul's around 3 pm.  (It's Annual Conference weekend and extra help is needed!  See you there).
