When God Calls Us Forward

There are times in life when we know things are changing. Sometimes we’re excited about what’s ahead, and other times we’re not quite sure what the next step will look like.

In Exodus, the Israelites are standing at the edge of a new chapter. They are told to prepare, to remember, and to trust God as He leads them forward. In Romans, Paul reminds us that while we wait and watch for what God is doing, we are called to love one another and live faithfully right where we are.

Maybe that’s a good reminder for all of us. We don’t always know what tomorrow will bring, but we can choose how we live today. We can love a little more, forgive a little quicker, encourage someone who needs it, and trust that God is with us in whatever comes next.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is simply take the next step.
