STOUT MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World

A Special Thank You

A special thank you to our Staff Parish Relations Committee for hosting the Grill & Chill in appreciation of Pastor Helen. We are grateful for the time and thoughtfulness that went into making the gathering such a wonderful occasion.

Also, Thank You to the congregation for your continued love, prayers, encouragement, and support. Your presence and faithfulness mean so much to our church family. Thank you for the many ways you help make Stout Memorial a place of love, fellowship, and ministry.

It’s Scout Popcorn Time!
Pack 12 and Troop 12 scouts are popping with excitement—and ready to fill your snack stash! Orders are open now until Mid-October

Scouts will be taking orders after both church services, or you can reach out to Kim Mommessin (304-580-9479) to place yours.

Thank you for supporting our Scouts—you help them pop into new adventures!

Church Workday — September 26

Let’s get together and give our church a little TLC! Join us on Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 AM for a church workday.

We’ll be working both inside and outside the church, with projects including landscaping, yard cleanup, and general work around the church grounds. There will be plenty to do, big and small, so come lend a hand if you can!

Bring your energy, and if you have work gloves or a few basic tools, feel free to bring those along too.

Saturday, September 26 • 9:00 AM
We’d love to see you there!

Operation Christmas Child: Year-Round Packing Challenge
SEPTEMBER: GAMES

September’s focus for our Operation Christmas Child Year-Round Packing Challenge is games! Small games can bring lots of joy and give children something fun to share with friends and family. Consider donating items like card games, jump ropes, small puzzles, toy cars, or other games that fit inside a shoebox.

Donations can be placed in the Operation Christmas Child collection area throughout September. Thank you for helping share God’s love, one shoebox at a time!

MISSIONS
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributed, packed and moved 50 flood buckets to Crossroads for use in the next flood!
