Why Estimate of Giving Cards? 
The cards reflect an estimate of what you believe God is leading you to give in 2027. 

The estimate is not written in stone. All of us know that “stuff” happens. But to come up with an amount gives you a goal in your giving. 

This requires some spiritual work between you and God. Jesus spoke more about money than he did “love your neighbors.”  For him, it was an indicator of devotion. Can we live fully without that luxury cruise, or new truck or boat? 

And of course, the answer is YES. For Jesus it is the how we use the gifts given to us by God. Are we willing to give equal measure to the church’s mission and ministry?  Ponder & pray. 

Additional Estimate of Giving Cards are on the welcome tables of both worship spaces.

Remove decorations …items will be packed safely and placed in storage. All members of the congregation are invited to help. 

Christmas Poinsettias and Cactus’ orders will be offered soon so watch for order forms in your bulletin. We will again be ordering from Bob’s Greenhouse.

Things are taking SHAPE!   

Youth Group starts on November 1!  Youth in 6th - 12th grades and their adults are invited to join us at 6:00 pm to talk about the ways in which we will be combining faith, friendship, service and fun.  We’ll meet on the first Sunday of each month. Come and bring a friend!!   

Our newly- formed Children’s Ministry Team will meet on Oct 27 at 6 pm!  All are welcome to join us as we serve our youngest members!   

A new Adult Sunday School class begins Nov 1!  If you don’t currently belong to a Sunday School class, consider this one!   We’ll start with Adam Hamilton’s series titled “Unafraid”.  Meet at 9:45 in the JOY classroom in the education wing! 

      

Trick or Treat with Our Preschoolers!                                 
We’re excited to celebrate Halloween with our Preschool Ministry and invite our church family to join in the fun!

Pumpkin Carving

Come help us carve pumpkins with our preschoolers and enjoy some fall fun together!

Trick or Treat
Thursday, October 29 at 11:30 AM
Our preschoolers will be dressing up and trick-or-treating throughout the church!

To help us prepare appropriately, please sign up for each activity. A sign-up sheet, along with more specific information, will be available in the Gathering Space.

Important: Due to food allergies, all food/candy treats will be provided by the Preschool. If you would like to help with the cost of the treats, or you may donate nonfood treats, donations are welcome but completely optional, there will be a box by the Director’s Office. Please do this by October 25^th

MISSIONS
Don’t forget Undie Sunday! We are collecting new underwear and socks to help provide children and families in our community with basic necessities. 

Please bring your donations to church and place them in the Gathering Space. Every pair makes a difference! Thank you for helping us share God’s love in a practical way. 


 

UWF -Blanket Collection
The Women of Faith will be collecting for blanket purchases (or blankets) at the end of Todays Services (Oct 25^th). Blankets will be distributed to the local homeless population. If you have any questions, please call Terri at 304-210-7766
