ISSUE 39, VOLUME 5 CONNECTIONSNOVEMBER 1, 2026STOUT MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCHMaking Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World. How do we say thanks? November kicks off the season of Thanks Giving. For some, receiving is easy. For others, receiving a gift brings panic. (I can’t return the casserole dish with nothing in it !!) This month we will explore what it means for us to give thanks to God and to ponder God’s act of grace. All that we have is God’s. We simply share what is his to begin with. The Mission Team wants to say thanks to you for your acts of care and generosity in 2026. Following the With One Voice Service on November 15th, the mission team wants to serve you a simple meal. On that day we will worship together and fellowship together. The Pastor has sent to you Estimate of Giving cards for 2027. Have them ready to present in worship. Extra cards are on the welcome tables of both worship spaces.
