ISSUE 39, VOLUME 5CONNECTIONSNOVEMBER 8, 2026STOUT MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World Is it time for Advent? I remember the picture my mother taped to the refrigerator. For the Month of November, it was a fine looking turkey. Turn it over as December starts, it was a very handsome Santa. That’s how fast we move from one to the other. Before Thanksgiving turkey is eaten, I want you to plan to be part of an Advent Study. Again, on Wednesdays, the morning study is at 10:00 am in the parlor. And the evening study is at 6:00 pm also in the parlor. Because of losing the Wednesdays prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas, WE HAVE TO BEGIN OUR ADVENT STUDY THIS WEEK, NOVEMBER 11TH.
