Sunday School
Starts September 13 at 9:30am - 10:20am

Beginning on September 13th, Belong is launching a Christian Education programming for all ages. There will be classes for adults and older teens and supervised activities for younger kids in the fellowship hall. John Hawthorne will moderate the adult class and Claire Young will lead the teens. Classes will meet from 9:30 to 10:20. There will be no classes on Potluck Sundays.

Do you have church trauma stories in your past? Family challenges you're carrying? Or maybe just want to be able to come alongside those who struggle? Or maybe you have experience in helping others deal with past trauma. The adult Sunday School class, led by John Hawthorne, will be exploring ideas from the book Traumatized Church by Scot McKnight and Adrienne Gibson. It isn't necessary to buy the book and you aren't under obligation to be there every week. We will meet in the library from 9:30 to 10:15 on non-potluck Sundays. Come help us consider how Belong can continue to develop as a trauma-healthy space!

If your youth is interested in participating or you are willing to volunteer please fill this form out:
