ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 6:30PM
Lighthouse leadership invites everyone to attend our upcoming Annual Business Meeting, where we will discuss both the current ministries and the future direction of the church. The agenda will include updates on our Seats for Souls campaign as well as plans and next steps for our future church building. This meeting is open to the entire congregation.
In the meantime, join us on Wednesday nights as we study through 1 Corinthians.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
TUESDAY, 6:30PM, SANCTUARY/GYM
Our final meeting of the year will be this Tuesday, October 28th. This week, the group will be wrapping up a study on 1, 2, and 3 John together. The Men’s Bible Study will then take a break and plan to resume on January 13, 2026.

MISSIONS MEETING
OCTOBER 30, 6:30PM, E114
Join us for our upcoming Missions Meeting in Room E114. Come hear updates and learn how you can be involved in sharing God’s love locally and around the world!

CHRISTMAS BOXES OF BLESSINGS Donations
MISSIONS PROJECT FOR KENYA
This year, instead of our usual Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, our church family will be adopting 37 orphans in Kenya. You will have the opportunity to purchase a fully packed shoebox for $55, which will be given to the child you choose to “adopt.” Each shoebox will include essentials like socks, a toothbrush, toys, and even a Bible. Soon, we will display the names and pictures of the children on a Christmas tree, giving you the chance to select a child to bless. In the future, you will also have the opportunity to communicate with your adopted child, building a meaningful connection across the miles. Stay tuned for updates!

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE
NEXT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2
Just a friendly reminder to set your clocks back one hour this Saturday night, November 1st. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep, and we’ll see you bright and refreshed for Sunday worship!

OCTOBER 31 GOSPEL TRACTS
We have Gospel handouts available for you to share with children and families who come to your door at the end of the month. These small tracts are a great way to shine a light and point young hearts toward Jesus. Pick some up at the welcome table or the bulletin board!

THANKSGIVING MEAL BOXES
DROP OFF on OCT. 29 OR NOV. 2ND:
CANNED CRANBERRY OR APPLE SAUCE
Through the week of November 16, we will be collecting specific food items to create Thanksgiving Meal boxes to give as Care Gifts for those within our church family who could use them. Check the bulletin each week for the items that we are collecting. A box will be set in the main and office entrances to place your donations in.

PASTOR APPRECIATION
We are deeply grateful for Pastor Jay and his wife, Roxanne, and Pastor Alex and his wife, Tess, for their devotion to God’s Word, their care for our church family, and the many ways they pour into our community. Please take a moment to thank and encourage them! Let’s lift them up in gratitude and continue to pray for God’s strength and blessing over their ministry.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR CANDIDATE
PREACHING TODAY
We are excited to welcome Aaron Smith, our candidate for Associate Pastor, to speak this morning in both services. We will hold a congregational vote on Sunday, November 9. Please join us in lifting Aaron and our church family in prayer as we seek God’s guidance in this important decision.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
We are excited to welcome our newest members: Tonya Lawrence; Heidi Locklin; Andy & Cheryl Saul; Landon & Julia Wheeler; Billie & Jean Wampler; James & Roxanne Payne; and Johnny & Renee Johnson to the Lighthouse Bible Church family! Let’s keep pursuing Christ together through faith, love, and service. Take a moment to greet and welcome them.
